Let It Snow: A Kid Lunch

Time for another round of Silly Kid Lunches.  I saw the original idea for this one in a magazine.  Mine didn't turn out as cute and The Girl kept asking if it was a boat.  Ah well.

The house is a peanut butter and apple butter sammie with cereal for the windows, doors and roof.  The chimney is cut from a fruit strip and the smoke is cheerios.  Mini marshmallows for snow; bananas and dried cranberries around the rim.

Here's The Girl's lunch:

For The Kid, I mixed peanut butter and apple butter together in a small container and put white sprinkles on it..  For dunkin' I used snowflake-shaped Ritz and cut up apples and celery.  Another small container has almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds, dried mango and mini marshmallows.

Here's his school lunch:

And yes, it was still dark out when I was taking pictures of his this morning.
Gad - talk about orange.

Have a good weekend!
